Directed search marketing strategy for a network of a dozen enterprise affiliate websites. Implemented analytics on all sites, including goal and event tracking for all conversion types. Played a major role in the development of overall marketing strategy and implementation for two new sites. Worked with the PR team to fully leverage hundreds of high-quality links and brand mentions from sources like the New York Times, CBS News, TIME, ABC News, Wall Street Journal, WIRED, Forbes, PCWorld, Fox News, CNN Money and other media outlets. Implemented a successful search marketing strategy for Free Shipping Day, an online shopping holiday responsible for more than $1 billion in online sales (freeshippingday.com).

Improved rankings and increased organic search traffic by 263% between 2008 and 2009. Secured and maintained #1 rankings for highly competitive industry keywords (e.g. yoga mats, yoga DVDs, organic bedding). Developed successful, ongoing SEO strategies for dozens of Gaiam eCommerce, subscription and content properties. Generated over $2MM in gross revenue from organic search across two main web properties in 2009. Managed two full-time employees, one intern and multiple vendors. Educated marketing team members and decision-makers on SEO best practices, and regularly met with cross-department leaders to develop SEO evangelists in key areas throughout the organization.
